so cute! i feel bad for the mom and babysitters for the pups... they can be so cruel... i saw a group that had roughly 14 pups at once... i think the alpha and beta had pups, but they wanted the pack to survive... shockingly only one passed... one had 8 pups while the other had 6...
it was a group up north where it was colder, it was a large group to start off with, roughly 9-10 adults... they were able to support them... during my biological and animal behavioral studies I've found that this is more common in the harsher climates, the bigger the pack, the better the survival rate of the young, but also the harder to feed all their mouths... that's the only draw back...
